The 2025 model “P790” irons use a new material for the face that is 20% stronger than the previous model, lightweight, and has high resilience. The increased strength not only contributes to a thinner face and improved initial ball velocity, but also increases the sweet spot by up to 24%.

The new P790 irons were developed to provide a more comfortable feel. TaylorMade’s technologies, such as the club-specific head design and SPEEDFOAM™ AIR, deliver the performance and comfortable feel that golfers desire.
IMPROVED ACCURACY AND OPTIMAL DISTANCE FOR EACH CLUB
Adopted “FLTD CG Design” head design for each club. By placing tungsten weights of different weights and shapes for each club, it realizes the performance required for each club. You can feel “ease of flying” with long irons, “ease of aiming” with middle irons, and “ease of stopping” with short irons, and forgiveness and stability are further improved with all clubs.
HEAD SHAPE THAT GOLFERS WANT
The head shape has a clean impression with a top line that is easier to address. The sole and leading edge have been improved for each club, providing better release on the turf and more consistent shots.
