Tiger Woods Gets His 60th Win on PGA Tour and Franklin Langham Wins His Third on Nationwide Tour
Playing almost flawless golf for all four rounds, Tiger Woods won the BMW Championship to bring to 60 his number of PGA Tour victories and post his sixth of the 2007 season. Woods shot four solid rounds in the 60's, with a 13-under-par total in the final two rounds, thanks to his 65 and 63, respectively. Woods' victory is his fourth at Cog Hill. Using Nike Golf equipment, Woods finished in the top five in driving accuracy, driving distance and greens in regulation. His victory also puts him into the lead in the Fed Ex Cup point standings.
On the Nationwide Tour, Nike Golf's Franklin Langham captured his first Nationwide Tour title since 2004 at the Utah Energy Solutions Championship. Langham, who won by two strokes, led the field in birdies with the help of his Nike SasQuatch Driver, Pro Combo Tour irons and the successful Nike One Platinum ball.
